Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal data PickCleverly ("we", "us") processes when you use pickcleverly.com, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection small on purpose.

What we collect

Information that is processed automatically

  • Technical request data. Like any website, our server receives your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Affiliate link clicks. When you click a link that goes through pickcleverly.com/go/..., we record the click: its time, the link and market it belongs to, a broad device type (for example mobile or desktop), the website the click came from (its origin only), and a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address in readable form for this purpose, and we do not use this to identify you.

Information you give us

  • Email you send us. If you write to contact@pickcleverly.com, we receive your email address and message and use them to reply.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe to a PickCleverly newsletter, we process your email address, the country you choose if the form asks for it, and a record of your consent (when, in which form and under which version of the text). You can unsubscribe at any time. Subscribing is optional.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies at this time.

  • Session cookie (pickcleverly_session). A random identifier used for security features such as protecting forms against forgery. It does not identify you personally and is not used for advertising.
  • Market cookie (pc_market). If you choose a country in the market selector, a cookie remembers that choice for up to 180 days. It contains only the country code.

Why we process data

To provide and secure the website; to count and understand affiliate clicks so we can tell which links work; to reply to your messages; and, if you subscribe, to send the newsletter you asked for.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. When you click an affiliate link you leave our site and go to the retailer, whose own privacy policy then applies. Our website is hosted by a hosting provider that processes data on our behalf to run the service.

How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Emails you send us are kept while we deal with your request and for a reasonable time afterwards. Newsletter data is kept while you are subscribed and your consent record is kept as evidence of that consent. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to stop sending you the newsletter. Depending on where you live (for example California, Canada or Australia) you may have additional rights under local privacy law. To exercise them, email contact@pickcleverly.com. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though your market choice will not be remembered.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we apply technical measures to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

PickCleverly is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
